Jones is the Nancy Chair in Women’s Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University, the former Poet Laureate of Halifax, a dedicated social justice activists at author of the poetry collection Live from the Afrikan Resistance, published by Fernwood Publishing.

Jones will, earlier on March 13, also be delivering a lecture:
